Codounder of Anima, ambassador for XPRIZE Foundation, codirector of the Postdigital seminar, ENS – PSL

Passionate about art and science, graduated from HEC Paris and ENS Ulm (PSL), Alexandre Cadain was involved in the Hyperloop project and the XPRIZE foundation in Los Angeles. He finds our world paradoxical. In the midst of the promised revolutions, he is disappointed by the use of the unprecedented powers conferred on us by new technologies. After the impasse of the future, against the overproduction of selfish techno-gadgets and autonomous toupies, he militates for the creation of real, daring utopias by exploring in particular positive artificial intelligences.
He is the co-founder and CEO of ANIMA, a moonshot studio that tackles the great challenges of our time using breakthrough technologies.
Alexandre is the European ambassador of IBM Watson AI XPRIZE, in charge of supporting the European teams selected to positively impact one billion individuals by 2020. He is also a rapporteur for the UN's AI FOR GOOD Commission for the Future of Work Working Group.
At ENS (Ecole Normale Supérieure, a member of PSL), he co-organizes the Postdigital seminar where technological imaginations are explored, at the intersection of art and science. In 2017-2019 the program specializes in Artificial Imagination.
