Guillaume Wilemme is a post-doc researcher in Economics at Aix-Marseille University. His broader interests lie in Labor Economics, Economic Theory and Structural Econometrics. In his research, he investigates the search strategy of workers and how it affects other economic variables such as the quality of jobs, unemployment, geographic disparities or the wage growth. His work mainly borrows from the search and matching literature. He is getting interested in contingent employment, independent workers and the gig economy.
He has received the Louis Forest Honorary Award (Economics and Management) in recognition of his doctoral dissertation (Sciences Po, 2016): « Searching on the labor market : theoretical implications and empirical evidence » (link, PDF)
